The Great British Wine Tour’s Vintage Bus Wine Tour offers a unique and immersive experience, visiting two award-winning vineyards—Highweald Vineyard and Artelium Estate—for a day filled with fine wines, breathtaking scenery, and delicious local produce.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the rolling South Downs, accompanied by an expert guide who shares fascinating insights into English winemaking. The first stop is Highweald Vineyard, a charming estate producing exceptional still and sparkling wines. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, learning about their meticulous production process, followed by a tasting of their elegant, award-winning wines.

A highlight of the day is a delicious Sussex cheese & charcuterie lunch overlooking he vines, filled with locally sourced treats and perfectly paired with a glass of English wine. This idyllic picnic setting allows you to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. We have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too.

Next, travel to Wiston Estate, a stunning vineyard and winery nestled amoungst the rolling chalk downland of the South Downs National Park. We take part in a guided tasting of sparkling wines in Wiston’s beautiful tasting room hidden in the depths of the winery

The journey back on the vintage bus offers time to reflect on the day’s experiences, with the option to purchase wines directly from the vineyards. This charming tour is perfect for wine lovers, foodies, and those seeking a unique and leisurely escape into Sussex’s flourishing wine scene.

Our London Wine Tour Ticket offers a seamless and stress-free way to join our Vintage Bus Wine Tour from the heart of the city. This ticket includes an open return (same day) rail ticket from London Bridge for ultimate flexibility.

Your journey begins at London Bridge Station, where one of our friendly guides will meet you at 09:00 to provide your tickets and accompany you on the scenic 50-minute train ride to Burgess Hill. From there, your wine adventure begins! Our vintage bus will pick you up for the short 10-minute transfer to the vineyards. The tour concludes in Brighton, giving you the option to explore the city’s vibrant seaside charm or take a direct train back to London at your leisure.
