Hidden away, tucked down a country lane in the heart of Sussex, The Royal Oak Wineham. This 14th century timber building is full of charm and has been a pub since the 1700s. It is an excellent all-seasons pub with beautiful garden and cosy low-beam interior with a roaring fire in the winter months. The food is outstanding, with locally-sourced, seasonal produce that truly showcases Sussex food at its best. We regularly visit the Royal Oak for our lunch stops and host special food pairing events. The Royal Oak also has the Peacock Room, a private cosy function room which is perfect for large groups and can seat up to 60 guests.
