Buses operate throughout the day so you can hop-on and hop-off whenever the mood takes. Explore the historic village of Ditchling with its arts and crafts museums, quaint tea rooms and stunning setting at the base of the South Downs. For an extra adventure, take a meander between our stops. With your ticket, you will receive a bus timetable and handy map of the tour area with footpaths and routes marked.
At each stop, enjoy vineyard and brewery tours, tastings and delicious food offerings. Purchase tickets for these individual experiences by contacting our partner vineyards and breweries in advance, or simply buy on arrival. Q. I only want to spend a half-day, how do we get back to Brighton early or join the tour later in the day?
A. We regularly stop at Burgess Hill Railway Station for those ready to join us later in the day, or wishing to head back early. Brighton is only 15 minutes from Burgess Hill Station by train.
Times we can pick you up or drop you off at Burgess Hill Railway Station are 12:30, 14:15, 16:45.
Q. Do I need to book my wine tours or tastings in advance or can I just show up?
A. We recommend you book your wine tastings in advance. This helps our producers to manage their day and make sure that everyone has the best experience possible. You can do this by clicking on the vineyard links above or giving them a call. If you are not sure of your plans, then the vineyards will accept walk-in bookings. Use our Tours & Tastings Timetable to see when guided tours are running and where lunches are being served. Its always best to check the vineyard links for the most up-to-date tour information.
Q. We are visiting from London, how do we join the tour?
A. Easy! We pick up from Haywards Heath Station at 11am, just 40 minutes from Victoria, Blackfriars and London Bridge Railway Stations. Or if you are staying in Brighton, you can hop onto the bus at Brighton Pier.
