We put together a fantastic itinerary for you including visits to two award winning vineyards with expert guided vineyard and winery tour and tutored wine tasting at each vineyard. You will also enjoy a delicious vineyard lunch of local, seasonal produce.
A Self-Guided Taxi Wine Tour is perfect for couples and small groups looking to explore solo and is a great value alternative to our traditional private wine tours.

Whats the difference between a Taxi tour and a private tour?
A Taxi tour is designed to be convenient and cost effective for our customers. You wont have a GB Wine tours guide with you. We use local, reputable taxi companies and although your taxi will be from the same company your vehicle may change throughout the day. You will be hosted by vineyard guides and enjoy the same quality wine tour experiences and lunch as on our standard wine tours. Looking for the extra special experience? Why not upgrade to our executive vehicle and chauffeur package. Your driver will stay with you all day and make sure everything is taken care of, including a welcome glass of fizz when they pick you up.
Example itinerary from Brighton station
- 10:30 – Pick-up from Brighton railway station
- 11:00 – 13:00 Vineyard, winery tour and tutored wine tasting at Court Garden
- 13:00 – 14:00 Lunch hamper at the vineyard
- 14:00 – 14:20 Taxi journey to Artelium Estate
- 14:30 – 16:00 – Tutored wine tasting at Artelium Estate with time to explore
- 16:00 – 16:30 – Taxi Journey back to Brighton station
- 16:30 – Arrive back to Brighton Station
Your Taxi Wine Tour…
Your private taxi will pick you up from your home or hotel (or location convenient to you) and transport you through the beautiful Sussex countryside to your first vineyard where you will enjoy an expert guided vineyard and winery tour. Your guide will show you through the vineyard and into the winery where you will learn about English wine making from grape to glass. after your tour, you will be welcomed into the tasting room for a tutored wine tasting of four still and sparkling wines. once you have tasted, its time for lunch – a delicious hamper or sharing platter to enjoy while overlooking the vines. Once you have enjoyed lunch, your taxi picks you up for your next journey to a second Sussex vineyard. Their guides will greet you and give you a second tutored wine tasting of still and sparkling wines. You will have time at each vineyard to relax and visit the cellar door. once you have toured and tasted, your final taxi will pick you up and drop you home.
