Discover the perfect Sussex vineyard experience on our flagship Vintage Bus Wine Tour!

Step aboard our iconic 1960s red London Routemaster bus and enjoy a full-day journey through the stunning Sussex wine country. Visit two award-winning English vineyards, enjoy guided tastings, and savor a delicious seasonal picnic lunch among the vines — all while leaving the driving to us.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the rolling South Downs, accompanied by an expert guide who shares fascinating insights into English winemaking. Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard and winery, learning about their meticulous production process, followed by a tasting of  elegant, award-winning wines.

Next, we travel to our second award-wining vineyard for another tutored wine tasting and time to explore the vineyard before its back on the bus to Brighton.

A highlight of the day is a delicious hamper lunch amongst the vines, filled with locally sourced treats and perfectly paired with a glass of English wine. This idyllic picnic setting allows you to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.

The journey back on the vintage bus offers time to reflect on the day’s experiences, with the option to purchase wines directly from the vineyards. This charming tour is perfect for wine lovers, foodies, and those seeking a unique and leisurely escape into Sussex’s flourishing wine scene.

The Vintage Bus Wine Tour runs on Saturdays from 10am until approximately 4:30pm between April – October.  Check the Calendar below for the date of your choice.  Price £135 per person.

09:30 Departure: Mercure Brighton Seafront.                          16:45 Return.
09:35 Departure: Hilton Doubletree Seafront                           16:40 Return
09:40 Departure: Grand Hotel Seafront                                        16:35 Return
10:00 Departure: Brighton station, Leonardo Hotel.           16:30 Return
10:30 Departure: Burgess Hill Railway Station.  Return from Brighton.

Due to the route of the tour, we cannot offer a drop off at Burgess Hill,  You can book a rail ticket direct from Brighton to Burgess Hill or back to London.

Departure from London – Now with More Convenient Timings!

London Wine Tour Add-On: Start in London with a relaxed rail journey, meet your host at London Bridge and travel to Sussex by train before joining the vintage bus tour. Perfect for visitors and day-trippers.

Your journey begins at London Bridge Station, where one of our friendly guides will meet you at 09:00 to provide your tickets and accompany you on the scenic 50-minute train ride to Burgess Hill. From there, your wine adventure begins!  Our vintage bus will pick you up for the short 10-minute transfer to the vineyards. The tour concludes in Brighton, giving you the option to explore the city’s vibrant seaside charm or take a direct train back to London at your leisure.
